I'm going on vacation!  My friend, Kangaruba, and I are going to visit her family in Burkina Faso.  It's a real dusty country just north of Ghana, and there's really not much to see there.  Oh well, her family is such a blast.  Elmore might come too, but he's been feeling a bit sleepy lately.  I told him he shouldn't have eaten those funny looking leaves.  Seriously, I've told him that like 40 times, but you know how elephants are with their memories. 

We're leaving tomorrow, and I'll be gone for a whole week!  I'm not so sure how great the internet access is out there, but I guess we'll see.  I'm sure the trip will be absolutely stellar.  You guys have a rockin' time while I'm gone.  Adios.

Erica keeps yelling at me for never updating, so here I am. Dudes, you'll never believe my weekend.  It was so awesome.  I was hangin around the watering hole with my buddy, Marsupaluba, and this HUGE rock just splashed into the water.  So I was thinking, like, that's so weird, that a rock could just like fall out of nowhere.  By this time, there was a crowd gathering around.  They all wanted ME to check it out, because they figured i could crane my neck over it, but i was like "no way, dudes!".  I mean, come on!  I'm not sticking my head out over a steaming rock that just randomly came falling out of nowhere!  Right.  So, this rock was kinda pokin' out of the surface of the water, and it had some weird carvings on it.  Finally, I decided I didn't have much of a choice, so I looked at it.  It said "Beware the hamsters of mongolia!!!".  Dude.  Like, what was that all about?  Anyways, me and my koala/kangaroo friends ended up going to find the zebras to tell them, but of course they were having a party.  We didn't want to get involved, so we just went back to my place and hung out.  But seriously, hamsters?!?  I think it was just a joke; Elmore is a real kidder.  He's this huge elephant that likes to throw heavy things to show off.  Marsupaluba, you've gotta tell the zebras about this one!

So yeah, I was partying all day with my zebra friends, and i think i had a bit too much swamp water to drink.  You get headaches a lot quicker at this kind of altitude.  Man, some of those giraffes, you just can't trust.  They're tricky, they'll sneak things up on you.  Their parties are wild, though.  I had better get some sleep.  You guys watch out for those zebras.
